Question by Gustavo CL: Why is that you never ever see the words “latina” or “latino” with each other with the words “Cameron Díaz”…?
“Alexis Bledel”, “Gisele Bundchen”, “Manu Ginobili”, “Andrés Nocioni”, “Andy García”, etc. But the word “latino” or “latina” comes so easily together with “Eva Longoria”, “Jennifer López”, “Shakira”…? Can someone explain this double regular in the US? Who is behind that?
I see no dilemma with them beeing white, that’s what they are. I do not comprehend why individuals in the US try out to hide that they’re latinos.

Wikipedia states that both Gisele Bündchen’s parents are of German descent and are both fluent in German, although she is Brazilian, so if she didn’t call herself “Latino”, who would know? Obviously not you! And Kimberly Alexis Bledel’s name sounds German, so ditto!

Believe it or not actors really don’t make that much normally – of couse celebrities make huge amounts but if you propose to pay them less what’s going to happen to the littler actors? The ones who are barely making a living as it is?
