They are the very same size/proportion yet Jessica is demonized whilst Kim is praised. Why?

If Marilyn Monroe was around today, she’d be called a fat cow. White women in particular seem to have an unhealthy obsession with weight, and lash out at their own. I don’t know why, I’m white and naturally thin but would like to be curvier. The women of the 1940s and 1950s looked great but weren’t toothpicks.
Because Jessica has always been skinny,and Kim has always been ‘hippy’ and plus Jessica’s weight was in her stomach mainly and kim’s is in her hips,if that makes since,even though neither one is fat though!

I hate to say it, but Nicole337 is beter than Jessica.
IMO I think they both sang great. I’m a big fan of JS but I still can’t decide who I think is better. What about JS hands? I bet 100% of you critics can’t even talk w/o moving your hands, let alone SING. Who is to say that Jewels wouldn’t of been moving her hands the same if her hands weren’t occupied by playing her guitar? HATERS!

As someone who does music professionally, and sings professionally (I’m a music therapist), those gestures have no meaning, and the way she shapes her lips actually make things worse. I think only in pop you can get away with that, where it’s an image rather than an art. Jewel was great, though!

I expected to read positive comments towards Jessica but most of you are trashing her, I’m stunned. Jessica’s got an mazing voice, WAY BETTER that Jewel’s simple voice. Jessica was just feeling it and I found it really interesting and fun to see. I can’t at people not appreaciating real talent.
