Mysterieuze fotograaf terecht
Mooi verhaal om te delen. De man achter deze mooie foto heb ik eindelijk na een lange speurtocht gevonden. Twee jaar geleden speelde ik de hoofdrol in de clip van mijn goeie vriend Wouter Hamel. Wouter jullie kennen m huge wel anders vanaf vandaag zeker:-) Hij is echt booming en heeft net zijn tweede album uit. Doet het zo goed overal. Hij is een echte ster geworden. Tot zelfs in Japan staan er rijen voor de deur waar hij komt optreden. I enjoy him.
Maar even terug naar de man van de foto. Tijdens de clip werden door voorbijgangers foto’s gemaakt van ons ‘acteertalent’. De volgende dag kreeg ik van een van de meiden die ook meewerkte aan de clip de tip om flickr te checken. Iemand had foto’s van mijn gepost zei ze… En inderdaad, mooie foto’s die ik met de functie ‘opslaan als’ meteen naar mijn laptopje overhevelde. En 1 van die foto’s heeft een bijzondere betekenis gekregen omdat ik deze heb gebruikt om mijn droom van een eigen blad letterlijk te symboliseren. Deze zie je ook altijd helemaal hyperlinks op deze blog en ook bovenaan in het klein. Sinds kort heb ik eindelijk make contact with met de maker en hem verteld hoe blij ik ben met de foto die hij destijds heeft gemaakt. Blij omdat ik mijn pure zelf terugzie in deze foto. Ben Roel dus eeuwig dankbaar. En vandaag mailde hij me nog meer foto’s die hij op die dag heeft gemaakt.
Zo blij ikke, erg waardevol voor mij. Het was namelijk een dag om nooit te vergeten. Mijn debuut in een clipje… Verify hyperlinks voor het resultaat… Liefs, Aaliyah

The beginning of the video is so awesome and goes well with the start of the song, i seriously miss Aaliyah’s music.
Guys stop the comparison between Aaliyah & Beyonce. It’s insane! One of the reasons why I love Aaliyah, is the fact that she was never a hateful person. She never spoke ill about any artist, and that speaks volumes about her character.
Aaliyah was in her own lane. Whenever some of you Aaliyah fans create a competition between the two, you always have what I call some obsessive Beyonce fans who feel the need to disrespect Aaliyah.
Listen to who you like, that is your choice.
